 During the film process we worked on different elements of mise en scene. Throughout our film process we use the elements of costumes, hair, setting, and props which change throughout the film. To capture the images for our movie we used the iphone 12. This allowed us to capture multiple images for our scenes and us the different elements of camera movement throughout, for example in the hallway scenes as you will see we have tracking and trucking shots. As a co-director me and my groupmates really tried to capture specific scenes with the camera movement for the audience to capture certain things as well. Overall me and my teammates worked well together and communicated for the outcome of The Other Side.

   

Through the pre production stage our group created the logline for film. This would help introduce the film with different elements to help the audience understand better and possibly captivate them. 

Before the eventual process of making the opening film we had the process of planning. Me and my group worked and communicated on what we wanted for our film and how it would connect to audiences. We had the use of the Pre-planning word document from our teacher Ms.Vincent. This allowed us to organize our planning with everyone knowing their role in the the filmmaking process. Me being the director, writer and an actress in this film process, I wanted to make sure that our audience understood the genius behind everything and hopefully could connect to it someway.

 Our logo was made by our editor Ariel Pierre-Louis. It was designed to capture our group as a whole and what we represent. 

 In this activity me and my teammates worked on defining sound and finding the different elements of sound in the opening sequence of The Giver. 

 In this activity me and my teammates worked on editing and sound analysis in this document. This helped us further understand editing in film by breaking down the opening sequence we were researching, The Giver.
